How to Prepare our Battered Nian Gao
Battered Nian Gao
- Remove Nian Gao from pack, thawing is not required.
- Pop in pre-heated air fryer at 180c for 6 to 7 minutes.
- Defrost for 15 minutes in room temperature.
- Add adequate oil in pot for deep frying.
(Tips: Oil should be above the Nian Gao, and use a deep pot)
- Heat up the oil in medium heat for 4 minutes.
- Lower down the heat to low.
- Add in the item slowly, beware of oil splatter.
- Fry it for 5 to 7 minutes till golden brown.
- Use a heat durable spatula to move it about.
- Ready to eat, once it is golden brown.
