How to Prepare our Fortune Firecracker
Let us get you ready for Chinese New Year! Listen for the satisfying crackle when slicing the Fortune Firecracker – it’s music to the ears and certainly sounds like mini fire crackers warding off the evil and ushering in the good!
Half Log
Conventional Oven
- Remove the log from the vacuum pack, thawing is not required.
- Place it in a preheated oven, cook at 180°C for 45 to 50 mins.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 mins to achieve crispiness.
Toaster Oven
- Fully thaw the frozen log.
- Remove the log from the vacuum pack.
- Place it in a preheated toaster, cook at 160°C for 45 to 50 mins.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 mins to achieve crispiness.
Air Fryer
- Remove from the vacuum pack, thawing is not required.
- Place it in the air fryer at 200°C for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 mins to achieve crispiness.
Full Log

- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 mins to achieve crispiness.
Supreme Scallop Sauce
Option 1
Boil adequate water in the a pot, once the water is boiling, turn the heat to low and place the sauce pack unopened directly in boiling water for 5 minutes.

Option 2
Thaw fully or microwave defrost, open the sauce pack and pour it into a pot. Heat it for 3mins under high fire. Once the sauce is boiling, its ready.
